Jim Keough joined MaxHealth in February of 2024 as the Vice President of Network and ACO Reach. Jim is leading efforts related to Affiliate physicians, specialty networks, payors and the ACO Reach.
Jim has 30 years of healthcare experience in network management, MSO/Plan operations, M&A integration, and value-based care – holding various leadership roles with Humana, CarePlus, JSA/Davita, Innovacare and others. He has extensive leadership experience managing multiple market teams, market expansions, operational improvements, and health plan products/business segments. Among numerous accomplishments during his career, he led efforts in reducing medical cost trend through network and medical management initiatives, grew customer base through investing in products/service value, and improved EBITA. Also, his leadership is accredited to leading a regional network team in winning Humana’s first statewide Medicaid comprehensive award in FL and leading regional provider engagement teams contributing to CMS 5 Star plan awards . In addition, he played a key role in merging multiple departments and subcultures into one thriving ecosystem during transformative times. Jim is passionate about putting people first often saying “People are what make organizations successful. People are our customers, innovators, providers, care teams, operators, associates, voice, and who navigate future success”. Jim is a Pennsylvania native where he graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Health Policy and Business Administration. He is currently living in Tampa, FL.
