Steve Slavick

Chief Financial Officer

As the Chief Financial Officer of MaxHealth, Steve oversees the organization’s finance, accounting, and strategic planning functions in support of delivering high-quality, value-based primary care to patients across Florida.

Steve brings deep experience in healthcare finance, accounting, and risk-based reimbursement models. He joined MaxHealth over three years ago and has progressed through roles including Controller, Vice President of Accounting, and Senior Vice President of Finance & Accounting before being appointed Chief Financial Officer. In these roles, he has helped build the financial infrastructure, forecasting capabilities, and reporting discipline necessary to support MaxHealth’s growth and value-based care strategy.

Prior to joining MaxHealth, Steve spent over 11 years at KPMG, most recently as a Senior Audit Manager, where he led audits within various industries, including healthcare systems and Medicare Advantage organizations. His background includes extensive experience with healthcare reimbursement, financial planning and forecasting, internal controls, and supporting growth in complex, risk-based healthcare environments.

Steve holds a CPA designation and is known for his collaborative leadership style and focus on aligning financial rigor with operational execution to support long-term sustainability and patient outcomes.
