• A Step-By-Step Guide To Telehealth

    Our team at MAXhealth offers two ways to schedule and complete a telehealth appointment, or “TeleVisit.”

       1) You can log into the Patient Portal, or
       2) You can download the Healow app to your phone.
    For both options, you will need to have an account already set up. If you don’t have an account, click here to see how to create an account.
  • How To Start Your TeleVisit On The Patient Portal

    Do you already have an appointment scheduled for a TeleVisit? Then follow these steps to have your TeleVisit with your provider:

    1) Log into the Patient Portal here.

    2) Click the “Appointments” button on the left-hand side of your screen and choose “Upcoming Appointments.”

    3) You should see the date and time of your appointment. Click on the text showing the date and time of your appointment.

    4) Click the “Join TeleVisit” button.

    5) If you are using equipment that monitors your vital signs, enter your vitals, and click “Submit.” If you do not use home-monitoring equipment, click  “Skip”.

    6) Follow the prompts on the screen to arrive in the virtual waiting room.

    7) Click “Allow” to use your device’s camera and microphone, and then click “Proceed.”

    8) Click “Start TeleVisit” again.

    9) Wait for your provider to connect.

    Once your provider joins the TeleVisit, you will receive a message that asks you to allow camera and microphone access. To proceed, click “Yes, allow access,” and your TeleVisit will begin in a separate window.
  • How To Start Your TeleVisit On Healow

    In addition to TeleVisits on the Patient Portal, you can use Healow, a trusted health and wellness app used by MAXhealth providers and their patients. Here’s how:

    • Download the free Healow app from the app store for Android or Apple

    • Open the app, and click “Get Started”

    • Enter the practice code: AHBECA

    • Go through the prompts to log into the app and set up your account. You must already have a Patient Portal account set up to proceed.

    • Acknowledge consent

    To start your appointment:

    1) Click “Appointments”

    2) You should see the date and time of your appointment. Click on the text showing the date and time of your appointment.

    3) Click “Start TeleVisit”

    4) If you are using equipment that monitors your vital signs, enter your vitals, and click “Submit.” If you do not use home-monitoring equipment, click “Skip.”

    5) Click “Start TeleVisit” button and wait to be connected to your provider
