The leader of MaxHealth, Prakash Patel, MD, guides the organization toward being the absolute best high-quality, integrated primary care service provider group in Florida and beyond. Over the last 25 years, Prakash has worked in the senior most leadership positions across the healthcare spectrum including provider services, health plans, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and information technology. His vast experience across healthcare allows him to deeply understand the various parts of what we do at MaxHealth and how best to position our activities to help deliver optimal value and outcomes for our patients, health plans, providers, and the broader communities we serve.
His passion for healthcare comes from his strong belief that health and well-being are the fundamental building blocks of all of life’s activities. He has seen remarkable results when care is delivered well and experienced firsthand when care wasn’t integrated and optimized, leading to bad outcomes. Prakash believes the highest privilege and honor that can be bestowed on any of us is caring for people to enable them to live their happiest lives.
