THE IMPORTANCE OF DRINKING WATER

The human body is composed of more than 66% water which is important in not only hydration but also in your health

Because of the water content of blood and bones, it is important to keep hydrated to optimize the creation of new blood and bone cells. Water is also important in detoxifying the body through the intestines and kidneys. Water is also necessary for joint health in that it helps to lubricate the joints. A lack of hydration can interfere with intestinal functions and lead to constipation. Since dehydration can lead to decreased mental alertness, irritability and headaches, keeping hydrated is important in brain health. By the way, the brain is 80% water! And finally, proper hydration is important for skin health.

So, if you can, try to drink between 6-8 glasses of water daily.
