Dr. Leslie Schwartz, MD is a board certified Internal Medicine doctor with Fellowship training in Gastroenterology. She graduated from Penn State College of Medicine and did both her Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before joining Max Health, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine, affiliate faculty member, with the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, teaching Medical Students and Internal Medicine Residents and seeing her own primary care patients, Internal Medicine patients. In addition, she has experience treating liver disease, specifically Hepatitis C patients at the Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center. She is also a women’s health provider offering annual exams, women’s medical concerns including contraception and post menopausal issues just to name a few. Dr. Schwartz diagnosis and treats all primary care medical problems and welcomes new patients.
