Originally from Illinois, Dr. Alfano moved to Bradenton to pursue his medical degree. He became enamored with Bradenton’s lovely weather and sandy beaches and decided to make it his permanent home. He enjoys practicing his faith, spending time with his wife Lynsey and two children, reading, gardening and playing the piano.
Education & Training
Dr. Anthony Alfano received his undergraduate training at Northern Illinois University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences and a minor in Biochemistry. He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton and completed his residency at Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Alfano is board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians. He takes interest in the relationship between nutrition and lifestyle as it relates to health and illness. Dr. Alfano believes prevention is the key to wellness. He is affiliated with Blake Medical Center.
