Focusing on naturopathic and allopathic solutions, Dr. Scott Elsbree has practiced internal medicine in Sarasota since 1985. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Duke, he completed Medical School at the University of Florida in Gainesville, then relocated to Memphis, Tennessee to complete his residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Having gone to high school in Sarasota, he returned following his residency, where he still specializes in geriatric care and preventative medicine. A diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Elsbree has been a member of the American Holistic Society, and was named in the Top Ten Best Doctors in the area for three years in a row. He currently serves as the Medical Director for both the Inn at Sarasota Bay Club and Florida Medical Retreat. An avid motorcyclist, Dr. Eslbree also enjoys boating, fishing, sailing, and all forms of theater. He and his wife, Cheryl, are the proud parents of four children: Shelby, a corps member of the Royal Danish Ballet; Amanda, a graduate student at NYU; Frank, who is finishing his Business and Finance degree at Auburn; and Trent, a senior at Sarasota High School who will be off to the University of Miami in the fall.
